System Shock 2 Co - op!

Im playing system shock 2, but not alone. Im playing co - op. Its only LAN though, were working to get it on himachi. Its the best thing since the time i tried coffe. I've actually put the whole game with many optimazation (screw spell check) mods and other customizations all on a flash drive on my key ring. Im tired so basically game is awesome and im still here.

Half Life 2 Map Pack

Im actually making progress with my maps! There no where close to being finished but as long as I can see progress being made the whole process goes more awesome. I even began tampering around with lighting.




I know its not much yet, but hey, it should look better with textured walls right?

Puddles

The humidity was heavy. Every step felt like walking through thin layers of water. It had just rained and the students were leaving their dorms heading to class. Ben, however was a commuter, making the daily trek to and from the university. From the brim of his hat, dew was dripping. He always wore that hat, but on occasion wore a plad beanie. He had gotten it from a friend’s house last year after graduation and had worn it almost every day since. It was a dirty orange color with the word “Gulf” displayed within a blue circle on the center.
It seemed that every time someone over 40 saw him wearing it, he would get a lecture over how old it must be followed by the entire history of the Gulf oil company. One man, who was older than most who inquired about the hat, even tried to buy it from him.
He was coming up to it again. He looked down at his dark blue shoes and then up again down the sidewalk down to where it dipped down to meet the street. It was there that a puddle normally formed for a couple days after each rain. Its color was burnt red from the reflection of the nearby dorms brick walls. He could see some dirt and several blades of grass floating around in a circular motion. When he got to it he slowly walked around it through the squishy grass. Not today puddle, he thought to himself, not today…

I think im also going to post on Deviantart also, (you can post stories there right?) in an attempt to get more people to read this blog. Ill try to have at least the first chapeter finished on thursday... wait, thats tommorow... ok friday then.

overwhelming

So the thing I said yesterday about post a third person narritive once a week (did I say that?). Well anyway it broke me. I thought about it all day. I thought about it all day. I thought about it all day. I thought about it all day. I thought about it all day. I thought in third person all day. Which happens to be something dangerous for me. I was in soo deep inside my own mind. The way I thought was differently than I have ever before. I've actually written a lot that ill post later this afternoon.

The Return!

It's been awhile, but I'm once again back to try and do this blog thing. I'm thinking of trying to post once a week and work my way to once a day. But anyway, I'm going to start a journal type thing on here but it's going to be told in third person, cause everything is better in third person (most of the time) like in dead space 2! Which has gained the privilege of getting on "the list", the list of the best games I have ever played. With the very top of the list being the Half Life series, including Portal, Dead Space 2 delivered on every level, story telling, audio, scar factor, innovative combat, and the most ridiculous and dramatic scripted events ever. There have been major improvements since the first game. A major overhaul in the zero gravity sections now allowing full movement and floating, no more being tethered to walls. There's a lot more to cover once I'm on a computer, right now I'm using my iPod. But anyway minecraft is badass
